'Complementary' therapies are extraordinary. Reiki, shiatsu, feng shui, acupuncture, acupressure, Tai chi, yoga, pilates, past life regression, future life progression, meditation, Bach and flower remedies, homeopathy, kinesiology, Chinese energy healing, massage, Indian head massage, hypnosis, hypnotherapy, herbalism, Qi gong. But do they work? If they aren't scientifically proven to work, are they still of some use?
